This workshop will answer most of your questions and help you get a deeper insight into what really is required to get a break and make it BIG! You will get to record one full song of your choice (without music) in the high end studio. Who can attend?

• This workshop is aimed at very passionate singers who would like to explore professional singing and get a glimpse into what happens in the mainstream music industry.
• Other singers who would like to understand more about singing will also greatly benefit from this workshop.

NO Prior Training required! As a part of this special workshop, From Mug to Mike is inviting Dr K Krishnakumar, who will speak to the participants on playback singing. Dr. K Krishnakumar is a Carnatic Vocal Musician, Music Composer, Playback Singer, Music Educationalist, Musicologist with Ph.D in Indian Music.He is the prime student of Padmavibhushan Dr. M. Balamuralikrishna, and has been giving his Guruji vocal support for many of his recent concerts.He is the winner of many prestigious awards the latest ones being the title 'Kalashri' with the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy Award 2012, Aasthana Vidwan, and many others.He has composed over 40 albums for top playback singer KS Chitra and worked with many leading music directors including Vidyasagar. Lunch will be provided.
